The following are the predominant activities of the Sabha orienting towards the welfare of general public, particularly residing at Kazhiyur Village:

(a) Poor-feeding (annadanam): Periodically and at regular intervals including national holidays, there will be poor-feeding for the village people.
(b) Education: The village has one elementary school and a high school. The Sabha shall conduct special coaching to the 10th standard children at least four months in advance of their annual board examinations. The Sabha shall also organise, as incentive to the students, cash awards and prizes, for those who are found meritorious in elocution, essay writing, sports, art and culture, and also for those who come in the first three ranks in the examinations and special prizes for meritorious students of 10th standard.
(c) Medical check-up: A free medical camp will be conducted periodically both for the school children and also for the general public with the help of government hospitals/doctors. During then, the medicines will be supplied free of cost.
(d) Library: A separate library will be organised with books of different languages dealing with topics of general interest, history, geography and humanity.
(e) Community development: Periodically, training will be imparted to the general public for hygiene and sanitation purposes. Cleanliness will be given top priority in the village.
(f) Tree plantations: In and around the school and other public spaces, there shall be organised planting of saplings and maintenance thereof will be undertaken.
(g) Cattle breeding: Wherever and whenever it is possible, a gaushaala shall be formed and maintained.
(h) Cottage industries: The uneducated/semi-educated villagers will be imparted training in some cottage industries so as to enable them to become self-reliant financially.
